ABOUT US
MARTYN
I started my career as a copywriter at McCann London working on campaigns for major brands including Cereal Partners, Bacardi and Wall's Ice Cream.
I left McCann in 2005 to rejoin my old boss Robert Campbell at United London and when United closed its doors, I joined Albion London as a creative group head.
In 2008 I was hired by MWO where I have created campaigns for Wickes, Simplyhealth, Food Standards Agency, Victim Support and Swiftcover.
I'm happiest when I'm at home with my family, but I also enjoy walking, fishing, surfing and kayaking.
I'm especially fond of old motorbikes and big dogs.
And I do like to be beside the seaside.
JO
My first creative job was at the age of fourteen when I wrote jingles and comedy sketches for Timmy Mallett's show on Manchester's Piccadilly Radio.
I first came to advertising at college when I took part in an exchange course with the University of Delaware, USA.
Since those heady days, I have worked at a number of top agencies, including BBH and Howell Henry, on a large number of diverse accounts and was a Campaign Face To Watch. In 2008, I came to MWO where Martyn and I were the Senior Creative team.
Outside of work, my interests include hiking, theatre and, most of all, movies, leading to my undertaking a course in film journalism at the BFI. I've even started a mini blog about all things movie.
Hope you like the work. Trust me, it's moved on a bit since the jingles.
